BE BEAUTIFUL, HEALTHY, ACTIVE
|
BE BEAUTIFUL
We all want to be beautiful. To be beautiful, we need nutrients that are largely lacking in the modern diet. Examples are vitamin C, which the body uses to make collagen that firms the skin, and sulphur, which the body uses to make keratin that accelerates the growth of hair and nails. Furthermore, it is often the desire to look beautiful that motivates us to eat well or go for a run or take our vitamins. If we are so strongly motivated to be beautiful, let's use that to improve our health. Ultimately, we can learn about health by focusing on beauty. We often see mothers learning how vitamin C and sulphur (in the form of methylsulfonylmethane) benefit the health of their families, having first used these medicinal substances to improve their skin. So, let's be at least partly guided by beauty in our pursuit of health. We are supposed to look younger and more beautiful than we do. |

BE HEALTHY
For many of us, a great life challenge is to regain our health after years of chronic illness. The solutions may be to reduce our consumption of plant oils and sugar in processed foods; to lose weight; to get more sun; to find a diet that works for our genetics. We may want to get off pharmaceutical drugs that are making us sicker, or to assist the body in creating detoxifying substances to handle the adverse effects of the drugs that we do take. The people who have the greatest success tend to lead their own recovery. They learn what works for them, through their own experimentation. They do their own research, learning from the experiences of clinicians and others who have had similar health complaints. Often, they learn how to use vitamins, minerals and other natural substances as powerful medicines rather than mere supplements. The other side to ensuring health is preventing disease in the first place, ensuring, for example, that our children get high amounts of vitamin D and omega 3. |

BE ACTIVE
As we age, we better understand what we are doing, and we develop discipline and adopt better habits. We therefore believe that we can be stronger in our 40s and 50s than we were in our 20s. We reverse aging by stressing the body, through exercising, lifting weights, jumping, stretching, dancing ballet, swimming, taking cold showers, and fasting. But to be so active, we must be flexible and free of pain. We must free ourselves of the injuries that have immobilised us for years. As the pain fades, we begin to move again, and that movement makes us healthier in multiple ways. We are designed to heal from injury, if we give the body what it needs. That can be as simple as supplying the body with the sulphur that it needs in large quantities for joints and flexibility. Let's be parents who can lift, wrestle and outrun our kids. |
